BIO
Ashley Kendall is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the UIC Center for Dissemination and Implementation Science and a licensed clinical psychologist. She received her PhD in clinical science from Northwestern University (Evanston, IL). Her NIH-funded research uses mobile health (mHealth) technology to target the intersection of emotions and risk-taking behaviors among high-risk people, such as youth in the juvenile justice system. She is particularly interested in applications of mindfulness-based interventions, and in uses of innovative methodological approaches to implementing and evaluating mHealth programs.
